Following the initial vision of the minister's fellowship, Greater Ballyclare Youth for Christ has been working in partnership with local Christians and Churches since 2003. The aim of our work is to connect young people with the truth of the Good News of Jesus Christ.

The work of Greater Ballyclare Youth for Christ is supported by the minister's fellowship and the majority of the local churches.

Greater Ballyclare Youth for Christ works within three key areas:

Outreach through schools
Currently we regularly work within local schools leading assemblies and facilitating RE, PSE lessons, Scripture Unions and our P7 Transition Programme 'Movin on Up'.

Youth outreach work
We offer a variety of programmes and activities for the young people of the local area:A breakfast club on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings in partnership with the local churches.A Monday Night Football Programme for guys aged 14+A Tuesday night drop-in programme in our Drop-in CentreA Wednesday Afternoon drop-in programme in our Drop-in CentreA Wednesday Night Youth Alpha CourseAn afternoon Guys Issue Based GroupAn afternoon Girls Issue Based GroupA Friday Night Drop-in programme in our Drop-in Centre (Coming Soon)

Resourcing local churches
We aim to support the work of local churches, providing practical opportunities for sharing the Gospel within the local community. We also hope to support local churches through our youth worker, resource library and providing training opportunities and experience.
